Appointments
Our GP appointments are 15 minutes long, and we ask that you only bring up one medical problem per appointment.
- If you have multiple issues to discuss or need more time, please request a longer appointment.
- Please schedule separate appointments for family members.
This will help us to be more efficient by making an appointment available to you when you need it the most.

Book an Appointment
Urgent appointments for today
If you feel that your problem is urgent, you should tell the receptionist and every effort will be made for you to be seen the same day.
The receptionist will ask for brief details of the reason you want to be seen. This is to help our Nurses and Doctors. If your call is not about an urgent medical problem then the reception staff will be able to advise the best way to get help.
One of our highly qualified Advanced Nurse Practitioners will call you back to discuss the problem and will make you an appointment to come to the surgery to see a Nurse or Doctor the same day if needed.
Ways to book
- Telephone: 0300 123 7651 between 8am to 11am
Extended Access
We also have extended access available. See our Out of Hours information.

Telephone Appointments
If you have a question regarding your health, a referral, or to find out test results, contact the practice by telephone first or contact us online rather than book a doctor's appointment.
Ways to contact us
1. Telephone: 0300 123 7651
2. Request an appointment online
If you have a question, please tell the receptionist. They may be able to help you without disturbing the doctor.
If you need to talk to a doctor right away, the receptionist will arrange for a phone call with the Duty Doctor or an Advanced Nurse Practitioner on the same day.
You can also schedule a phone appointment in advance for an ongoing issue. In that case, your call back may take a little longer depending on the doctor's schedule.
Letters and Forms
If you require a letter or a form from your doctor you can request online.
Sickness Certificates (Fit Notes)
You must give your employer a doctor's 'fit note' (sometimes called a 'sick note') if you've been ill for more than 7 days in a row and have taken sick leave. This includes non-working days, such as weekends and bank holidays.
Travel Vaccinations
Information and advice for travelling abroad.
Home Visits
If you need a home visit, you can help us by calling reception before 10am.
Telephone: 0300 123 7651
Wherever possible we prefer to see patients in the surgery, but if you are unable to make it to the surgery with assistance and feel you require a home visit please inform the surgery.
Change or Cancel an Appointment
Please give us as much notice as possible so we can offer your appointment to someone else.
Ways to cancel
1. Text 'CANCEL' to your text (SMS) message reminder
